Known for its diverse flora and fauna, Yala National Park is unrivaled in the country. Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu, was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in 1938. It is densely populated by two keystone species: elephants and leopards. The area is situated along Sri Lanka’s southeastern coast. Endless golden beaches, and warm seas, offers Sri Lanka’s best and safest surfing, swimming and diving. Wade in the deep blue ocean, crack open a beer under the scorching sun!Immerse yourself in the experience of being one with nature at the Bundala National Park, a home to nearly 200 species of birds, and 32 species of mammals. DAY 01 YALA/ TISSAMAHARAMA OR BUTTALA
The Guests will be taken to Yala In the evening leave on a photo safari by jeep to Yala National park. Yala is a mixture of scrub, plains, brackish lagoons and rocky outcrops. Elephants, Sambhur deer, spotted deer, wild boars, crocodiles, wild buffaloes and monkeys could be seen. Sloth bear and leopards are not easily sighted. On completion return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Tissamaharama or Buttala

DAY 02 TISSAMAHARAMA OR BUTTALA/BUNDALA/ TISSAMAHARAMA OR BUTTALA
After breakfast proceed to Bundala Safari. Bundala National Park is an internationally important wintering ground in Sri Lanka for migratory water birds. Bundala harbors 197 species, the highlight being the Greater Flamingo, which migrate in large flocks. Bundala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1969 and re-designated to a national park on 4 January 1993. In 1991 Bundala became the first wetland to be declared as a Ramsar site in Sri Lanka. In 2005 the national park was designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, the fourth biosphere reserve in Sri Lanka. On completion return to the Hotel Overnight stay in Tissamaharama or Buttala

DAY 03 TISSAMAHARAMA OR BUTTALA/KATARAGAMA/ TISSAMAHARAMA OR BUTTALA
Breakfast at the Hotel and proceed to visit Kataragama. Kataragama is a pilgrimage town popular with Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and indigenous Vedda communities of Sri Lanka and South India. The town has Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Devalaya. Overnight stay in Tissamaharama or Buttala
